Edmund Satoru MoriAugust 22, 1943 ' April 28, 2009Resident of Oakland Edmund was born in Rivers, Arizona, son of the late Bert Sadao and Florence Kikuyu Mori. He is survived by his brother, Bert Mori (Fumi) of Hayward and three sisters, Margaret Nelson (Ezra) of Orinda, CA, Marjorie Sanbongi of Fresno, CA, and Darlene Yamaguchi (Art) of Lancaster, CA. A graduate of Sanger High School in Sanger, CA., he was a member and past president of the Royal Merritt Home Owners Association in Oakland. An avid golfer, Edmund was a member and past president of the East Bay Bell Gold Club, and also a member of the Contra Costa Bell Golf Club and the Dai-ichi Golf Club of the East Bay. He greatly enjoyed skiing, good food and light rock music. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544 (510) 471-3363. Following will be interment in the Serenity Terrace Garden at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park. Donations in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
