Edeltraut Hatch, beloved mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on August 14, 1931, and throughout her long and beautiful life, she embodied devotion—to her family, her faith, and the home she lovingly created. A dedicated and nurturing homemaker, Edeltraut poured her heart into raising her four children. Her home was always a place of comfort and warmth, filled with the aromas of her wonderful German cooking, the shine of a spotless house, and the familiar freshness of laundry dried on the clothesline. Her touch made even the simplest moments feel special. Edeltraut adored her grandsons and great‑grandsons, who brought her endless pride and joy. She loved her husband deeply, and not a day passed without her missing him since his passing in 2007. Their love, steadfast and tender, remained a guiding light in her life. She also had a spirit for adventure. Edeltraut delighted in traveling and enjoyed memorable trips across Europe, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, and several cruises—each journey filling her with stories she joyfully shared. A devout Catholic, Edeltraut lived her faith with quiet strength and unwavering belief. Her kindness, resilience, and gentle grace touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Edeltraut’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished, in the traditions she passed down, and in the countless loving memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
