Earl Drew's Obituary
Drew Earl Russell Drew Passed away August 26th at the age of 83. He was born December 18th 1922. The son of Ruby Rose Williams, now deceased. He spent his youth in Oakland and Mount Shasta attending McClymonds andOaklandTechHigh School . He served in the military during WWII, and was given many medals and decorations including the medal for courage for his efforts during the famousBattle of the Bulge. After the war, Earl was briefly employed by Southern Pacific, after which he became employed with General Foods. Retiring after 36 years, he then worked atChabotCollege for 10 years. Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Mrs. Gunhild Drew ofSan Lorenzo . He is also survived by his loving children: Diane & (spouse) Chris Jin of Castro Valley, Larry Drew of Grand Lakes, Kenny Drew of San Lorenzo, Erik Drew of Castro Valley, Steve & (spouse) Joslyn Drew of Castro Valley, his loving grandchildren: Brenden & Janelle Jin, and Bionca & Wyatt Drew. Earl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, 9/2/06 atCHRISTLUTHERANCHURCH , 100 Hacienda Ave.,San Lorenzo .
