Douglas Edward Hawkins Aug. 30, 1971 – June 21, 2009 Resident of Newark Doug passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 21, 2009. He is survived by; his mother and father, Douglas and Tina Hawkins, his children, Douglas Jr., James and Sierra Hawkins, his wife Amyee and their children William, Vanessa and step-daughter Haily . Also, his siblings, Mike Hawkins, wife Susan, Andrea Benavente, husband Lloyd, Anastasia Dion, husband Barney. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces Christopher, Anthony, Alysia, Lauren, Louis and Sophia. Doug really loved the outdoors. He camped, snow boarded, Bungee jumped, biked, (motorcycle and bicycle), swam and hiked. He always lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for sports, coaching teams his sons were on in soccer, basketball and baseball. Doug touched so many lives in such a positive way. He was truly loved. He will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:00am at The Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
