Dottie was blessed by God with a special gift of, if you met her, you Loved her. Her family believes she never said a bad thing about anyone. Her Love was felt through her wonderful hugs and her special 'Thank you, Honey.' They were always there, even during the most difficult times including her courageous 3-year battle with Cancer. It was clearly evident that she was very special. All of those who helped her were met with a hug or a 'Thank you, Honey.' She never lost her sense of caring about everyone else before herself. She was very special, even to her new friends, which included Doctors, Nurses and care staff. Along her wonderful Journey here, she loved her trips to Reno, Las Vegas, South Lake Tahoe and she beautified the beaches in Hawaii as well. She loved her animals very much. Her favorite songs were, fittingly, What a Wonderful World, by Louis Armstrong and Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra. This most beautiful woman leaves a legacy of unconditional Love and sacrificial giving. She had a quiet wisdom and an easy delightful sense of humor. Her hugs, her smile, her care for all will be sadly missed by all of those graced by her presence. Her Love of her heavenly father was and is represented by whom she was, a Loving special person who was welcomed home on August 16, 2006.
