Dorothy Lucille Kromer 1928 – 2013 Resident of San RamonDorothy Lucille Kromer, 85, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 9, 2013. She had been a resident of San Ramon, CA for the past three years.Dorothy was born in Oakland, CA, in 1928, and lived in Castro Valley, CA, for 40 years.She worked for over 35 years as a Shaklee Sales Leader with her beloved husband, James Kromer, and retired when he passed-away. They were married for 58 years.Prior to moving to San Ramon, she was actively involved in service to others and in her church fellowships throughout her life, most recently at Fairhaven Bible Chapel in San Leandro, CA.Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hildenbrand (Michael); sons, Gordon Kromer (Suzanne), David Kromer (Sue), and Timothy Kromer (Darla), as well as her much-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A Celebration of Life Service was held for friends and family on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Church of the Valley, 19001 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, San Ramon, CA 94583.In lieu of flowers, tribute / memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org (1-800-272-3900) or to Spectrum Ministries at www.SpectrumMinistries.com.Burial was held at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, Hayward, CA.
