DORIS LOCKWOOD Went to be with her Lord, on November 2, 2006 in Castro Valley. She was 96 years old. Born on September 15, 1910 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A longtime resident of Castro Valley. She was a member of Village Baptist Church and loved to cook and bake for her family. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years Claire E. Lockwood and her grandson, Kenneth Lockwood. She is survived by her son, Frank E. Lockwood and wife, Lorraine of San Lorenzo; Granddaughters, Kathleen Clark and husband, Scott of Modesto and Claire Ashby and husband, Randy of Hayward; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Funeral Service Wednesday, November 8th at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward.
