Tom and I were neighbors and we shared a fence. One day he came by my house and asked if we should fix the fence and share the cost and I said sure. However, once the job was completed, my share of the cost went over my budget. The kind person that he was, he told me not to worry about it because he covered it for me and told me that I could pay him back whenever I have the money. It took me a while to pay him back, but what amazed me that he never asked me about it. I will always remember him as my kind friend and miss not seeing him in the backyard.
