Donna Marie Hofstetter's Obituary
Donna Hofstetter, a beloved matriarch, passed peacefully on 4/19/2017 in Livermore Ca, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on 7/28/1934 in Biggsville, Illinois. Her first marriage was to Rodger L. Morris in which they had two Children, Tim Morris and Christina Cutts. In 1963, Donna married her second husband, Gerald Hofstetter and had a daughter, Trudi Hofstetter. Donna lived in Castro Valley where she and Jerry (Gerald) were proprietors to Warranties Unlimited. She was active in the United Methodist Church of Castro Valley. Donna loved to cook as well as crafting. She enjoyed tailgating at Raider’s football games and Family BBQ’s. Spending time with family and taking care of her Chihuahua’s was most important to her. She is survived by her sister Dixie Rowland, her Son Tim Morris, and daughters Christina Cutts, and Trudi Hofstetter, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. We will all remember Donna as the Matriarch of our family who bonded us so closely together. Her hospitality will forever stay in our hearts.
