He married his beloved wife, Dorothy, with whom he shared a remarkable 69.5 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with joy, resilience, and unwavering partnership.
For 55 years, Don owned and operated a successful landscaping company, leaving a lasting impact on countless gardens and green spaces in his community. His passion for gardening extended into his personal life, where he found peace and fulfillment among the plants and flowers he so carefully nurtured.
Don was an avid supporter of the Oakland A's and Raiders, never missing a game and always cheering for his teams with boundless enthusiasm. In addition to his love for sports, Don was a talented woodworker and enjoyed spending time fishing, embracing the serenity of nature.
Preceded in death by his son, Robert Taylor, Don leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his children Walter Taylor (Toni) and Debra Taylor (Teresa); his grandchildren Heidi Taylor (Luis), Vanessa Showaker (Zack), and Laci Taylor Barlahan; and his great-grandchildren Honi Haskins, Holli Haskins, Hunter Showaker, Ayzen Barlahan, and Kade Barlahan.
Donald Frank Taylor will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his community, and his passions. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the beautiful landscapes he created. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever bloom.
