Donald Lee's Obituary
Donald Lee passed away on Wednesday after battling with ALS. He touched many people with his joyful and generous loving spirit, his abundant sense of humor, and positive outlook on life. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Donald was born in San Francisco and has lived in the bay area all his life. He attended Oakland High School and shortly after graduating and a few jobs, worked with the United States Postal Service for 36 years. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, and always looked forward to his vacations with his family. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Julie; devoted daughter Janine and her husband Mike, and his granddaughters Melea and Kealani of Livermore. Donald is the son of the late Suey Loy and Soo Fong Lee. He is also survived by his brother Norman and Isabel Lee of San Marcos, and their children Dawn and Daniel, along with their children. He is also survived by his sister Ellen and Rick Collaco of Oakland, and their children; Ricky Jr., Angelina, John, Tony, Gerald, and Alexander; also with their children. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence and Janet Lee, and their children Christine and Michelle. He is also survived by his sister Susan Lee of San Leandro, and Linda Lee and her daughter Cathy of San Leandro. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 5:00-9:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes-Mission Chapel, Hayward, CA . The Funeral will be on Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 9:00-11:30am.
