Donald Earl Evans' Obituary
Donald Earl Evans, Sr. 8/23/37 – 12/01/11 Resident of Union City Born to Albert and Edna Evans in Indianapolis, Indiana. Survived by his wife of 52 yrs. Linda Evans, daughter Tina Torres (Tommy), sons Donald Evans Jr. (Gladys), Steven Evans, grandchildren Donald III, Angelina (Esteban), Samantha, Scott, Marisela (Paul), Erik, Shawn, great-grandchildren Alesana and Paul Jr. As well as many extended family and friends. He enlisted in the U.S.Navy at 17 and served proudly for 22½yrs. retiring at the rank of CPO. He served a tour of duty in Viet Nam earning a Purple Heart. He enjoyed trips to the casinos, playing the lottery and didn’t miss a day at the coffee club until recently. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and rarely missed the opportunity to attend one of their sporting events. Services will be held in the Mission Chapel.
