Donald Allan Burkdall's Obituary
Donald Allan Burkdall, born on December 1st, 1930, passed away Saturday, November 21st at 7:30 am at the age of 89. Don will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and for his sense of humor. Don grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to San Mateo, California when he was 16 years old. He attended San Mateo High School and Junior College before serving in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. In the Air Force, he was a stock room supervisor and later became a Purchasing Manager for various electronics companies in the Silicon Valley. He enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, bowling, bingo and visiting with friends and his grandchildren. Don is survived by his wife, Nieva, brother Richard, son Tom and his wife Lisa, and his daughter Theresa, husband Chris, and grandchildren Daniel and Mikayla.
