Donald W. Bier's Obituary
DONALD W. BIER A longtime resident of Hayward passed away at UC Davis in Sacramento on March 6, 2008 at the age of 70. He is survived by his 3 loving daughters Dorinda Thomas of Phoenix, AZ; Debbie Riedl of Salem, OR; and Donna Cooley of Phoenix, AZ; 4 brothers: Jerry, David, Gary and Dale Bier. Donald is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Family says dad loved to visit his daughters and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing the slot machines at nearby casino’s and Bingo. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, March 9, 2008 beginning at 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM and a Celebration of His Life on Monday, March 10, 2008 beginning at 10:00 AM with the burial to follow at CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
