Donal and I were great friends since attending Wichita North High School. We would talk often. He and Reiko brought me to the annual August Birthday party which I attended for 10 years. We would talk while he was receiving his dialysis treatments. He spoke alot about his family and enjoyed celebrating with them--you all meant the world to him. He called me on the way home from the hospital after being dianosed with inoperable lung cancer. He called to tell me goodbye --that he would be on Hospice for no longer than 2 weeks. We shared alot of our memories and I wished him peace and comfort and that I would see him later--and for him to gather all our classmates and plan the rest of our reunions! I will miss his humor and smile!
