Dolores Chavez Simon Simon Dolores A. Chavez Jan. 9, 1929- Sept.22, 2008 Resident of Hayward Dolores Chavez Simon passed away peacefully on Monday. Sept. 22, 2008 at the age of 79. She is survived by her husband, Tranquilino Simon; children, Frank B. Chavez Jr., Yolanda A. Chavez, Cornel A. Chavez, Yvonne Rodriguez, and Paul D. Chavez; 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grand-children; sister, Angela, Carmen, Virginia and Patsy. Dolores is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank B. Chavez, and grandson, Paul C. Mendez. Family and friends are invited to CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA for visitation (TONIGHT) Thursday, Sept. 25th, from 4:30- 8:30 and Funeral Services on Friday, Sept. 26th at 10:00 am in the Mission Chapel.
