Dolores ‘Lola’ Camarena
Dolores “Lola” Hernandez Camarena was called home by God on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Vallejo, CA after 93 years on this earth. She was preceded by her beloved husband, Chris Camarena (2006), her father, mother, sister, and brothers. She is survived by her children, Steven Camarena and Renee Vega. Mother-in-law to Robert Vega, and (late) Yolanda Camarena. Loving grandmother to Celeste Camarena, Damian & Patty Camarena, Chris Vega, Natalie & Joey Suico, and Aaron & Deana Vega. Beloved great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren, Jade & Tyler Fernandez, Isaiah Suico, Kristian Vega, Kobe Vega, Naomi Suico, Alexa Vega, Bobby Suico, Josiah Camarena, Elinna Camarena, Gianna Camarena, Lira Vega, Isaac Vega, Lola Suico and soon to be. Baby Boy Suico and is survived by one brother, Danny. She was Sister, Sister-in-law and Tia/ Aunt to many. Lola was a member of Templo Betania for over 60 years. During these years she along with her husband, made music and sang together for special occasions. She loved to spend time with her friends at Besaro Mobile Park and later enjoyed bingo, playing music or just greeting people at her Assisted Living Home. She was retired from the School District after ____ years of service. For the following years she enjoyed her retirement, traveling abroad and all over the U.S. Some of her most memorable times was doing Mission trips to Mexico. Above and beyond all her adventures she was the happiest just being with Chris. She will be missed by many friends and brethren in Christ. She will be gone to us all, but never forgotten in our hearts and minds.
Services will be held: June 11th 2021 at Harbor Light Church 4760 Thornton Ave. Fremont, CA 94536 at 11am. Viewing will preceded the service beginning at 10am. Burial will follow immediately after service at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA 94544 (www.chapelofthechimes.com)
