Dipti Roy's Obituary
Dipti was born on Feb 6th, 1931 to Paresh Chandra and Mrs. Leela Sen in Kolkata. She was married to the Major R.N. Roy, in July 1953, son of Rai Bahadur S.N Roy and Mrs. Nagendra Bala Roy. After her husband’s death in the Indo-China war on 21st Nov 1962, she brought up her son Rajat Roy in a loving, joint family in Kolkata. She is survived by her son Rajat, daughter-in-law Charu, granddaughter Esha, and grandson Suraj. She was a very kind and loving person who wished everyone well. Dipti Roy greatly enjoyed living with her family in Saratoga for the last 12 years and spent happy times with friends and family until her health started to decline.
