Delfin G. Villaflor's Obituary
Delfin was a loving husband, father, lolo (grandfather) and uncle. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Leticia, and their children, Maria and son-in-law Jonas, Del, Alvin and daughter-in-law Ana. he also had four grandchildren, Lucas, Camille, Ian, and Giselle. He was the youngest of six children, a brother to Rosing, Antonio, Jose and preceded in death by his brother Angel and sister Meding.Delfin received a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, studying pre-med before he joined the Navy. He was a Vietnam War veteran who worked his way up from a steward to Chief Petty Officer, retiring in 1988. His navy career spanned over 24 years. He received many awards and acknowledgements during his service.Pa was always well groomed and fashionable. He loved gardening, sports cars, playing tennis, and watching boxing. He enjoyed listening to Elvis and watching James Bond movies. He loved doing home improvement projects, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with his apo’s (grandchildren).He will be greatly missed by all.
