Deepak Kumar (aka Master Deepak Ji)'s Obituary
Master Deepak JiJanuary 12, 1968 – September 5, 2017Deepak Kumar (aka Master Deepak Ji) was born in Punjab, India. He was the second youngest child of Lachhman Dass and Rajwanti. He was born in the family of gurus and sadhus. He developed his interest in astrology and meditation when he was in the middle school, and started walking on the path of saints and gurus at a very young age.He was full of life, a traveler at heart and loved being around nature and almost travelled the whole India with his few friends when he was really young.In 1992, he was married to Neelam Kumari aka Monica Rattu in Punjab, India. Then on July 21, 1993,they both given birth to son, Dimple Kumar, his son is living in Australia now.Deepak Ji knew deep inside him that he would settle his life abroad and moved to England in 1995 and he stayed there for few years, after that he has been in few countries and finally settled in California, USA in 1999.And it was in California where he started practicing his knowledge of astrology and meditation and started helping and healing people with his knowledge who needed his help. He had a huge contribution in the development and recognition of Indian community in the Bay Area. He helped in organizing Indian events like Indian festivals, art and cultural events.He was Mr. funny bone, life of a party and had many friends. A family or friend gathering was not complete without him. People who knew him personally would know about his funny dance moves. He also displayed unconditional love towards his family and friends.As we all know he was full of positive vibes and energy and always had a very calming aura around him which he whole heatedly spread among people he used to meet.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests if any one wants to donate, they should donate to hurricane relief fund or such non profit organizations because that is what Master Deepak Ji would want and it will also make his soul rest in peace.
