Debra Joan Ramirez's Obituary
Debra Joan Ramirez, 61, passed on the 23rd of April 2021 In her childhood home in Hayward, Ca. Her funeral services will be held at Chapel of the
Chimes on Monday, May 10th with the viewing from 12pm to 12:30pm followed by a chapel service from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Her burial will follow in the Serenity Garden at 1:45pm.
Debbie was born on December 29th, 1959 in Oakland, Ca to her parents Gloria Boykin and John Gilbert Ramirez. She was the first born child and will always be Gloria's baby. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to anyone she came into contact with. She will always be remembered for her smile, cheerfulness, and her constant joy in life. She was a ray of light in this world and her beautiful soul will always be cherished by those that knew her. She was a gift from our heavenly father and a blessing to us all. Debbie's favorite things were Elvis, Santa Clause, collecting pictures, singing and dancing to music, and Coca Cola.
Debra is survived by her parents BJ and Gloria Boykin, sister Cheri Smith, brothers John Ramirez Jr and Barry Boykin. As well as her loving nieces
and nephews, Matthew and Michael Atwater, Shaun Smith, Anthony and Sarah Ramirez, Natisha and Cherise Morris, Kaleigh and Kenna Boykin. Her great nieces and nephews Rebecca and Jeremiah Atwater, Josiah Peraza Flores as well as a long list of extended family
of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
