My deepest condolences to the family. Even though many knew Tía Daysi as a dedicated teacher and mentor, I remember her most for her fun-loving, joking, and bubbly spirit. Growing up, it always felt like she was my mom’s best friend—her presence brought warmth, laughter, and a certain light that made every moment feel special.
Although I didn’t spend much time with her over the past decade, she crossed my mind often, and I’ve always carried those joyful memories with me. Her kindness, her energy, and the love she showed to everyone will never be forgotten. Sending love and prayers to the family as we honor her beautiful life. May she rest in peace.
