David Vincent's Obituary
DAVID VINCENT DAVID VINCENT, November 2, 2006, preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Katherine Vincent, daughter, Sherri (Vincent) Wilson and brother, Jim Vincent. Born June 11, 1920 in Oakland, CA to Florence and William Vincent. Lived in Union City 32 years. Survived by his loving sister, Leta Souza, best friend and brother in law, Jack Souza, loving brother, Bob Vincent & brother in law, John Lane. Beloved uncle, to many nieces & nephews. Dave joined the Navy in 1938 and was a Survivor of Pearl Harbor and Battle of Guadalcanal. He retired from the Navy in 1958 and the post office in 1984. Dave was a big 49er and A's fan, he loved music and chocolate. He will live in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
