David Torres' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that Chapel of the Chimes Hayward announces that Mr. Torres passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89, with his wife and beloved dog by his side. He began his career as a lead maintenance and mechanic at American Home Foods in Castro Valley in 1963, later relocating to Vacaville when the company moved. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife, Judy Torres; daughters, Gloria Lind and Ronda Lewis; and sons, John Nance, Richard Wade, and Don Wade. He was preceded in death by his sons, David and Tom Torres, and daughter, Jessica. Funeral services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on December 7th at 9 AM.
