David Earl Smith of Hayward, California passed away November 21, 2019.He was born in Oakland, California on January 14, 1970. David graduated from Hayward High and received a certificate from Laney College for Graphic Arts and Composition. He was married to Frankie Smith on August 23,1997.David worked in printing for ASAP Quality Printing, and he owned and operated his own business DES Printing. He had a passion for music and played the organ and piano. David played in numerous church organizations like The Gospel Music Workshop of America.David is survived by his daughter Jewel Smith, brothers; Jacob Smith; Melvin Smith; Anthony Smith; sister; Janice Smith. A host of nieces, nephew; in-laws and friends.Funeral arrangements will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Chapel of The Chimes
