David D. Mosqueda's Obituary
David Daniel Mosqueda was welcomed into the world in San Francisco, CA on February 28, 1960 by his loving parents Gonzalo and Caroline. He was the 7th of 12 children.The family made their home in San Bruno and David went to school at Parkside and Crestmoor, and attended mass at St. Bruno Catholic Church. After graduation David began his career as a sheet metal worker and an auto maker, and enjoyed living in other parts of the Bay Area throughout the years, including San Mateo, Daly City and Fremont.The day he married his wife, Anne, and the birth of his two sons, David and Daniel, were the two most important events in David’s life. David was a loyal Rams fan and loved watching his team play. He was especially happy and proud when they won the Super Bowl.Throughout his life David enjoyed working on cars, attending car shows with his wife, Anne, spending time with his grandson, Isaiah, fishing, going to the casino, and fixing things for everybody. He loved music and some of his favorite songs were “Joanna” by Kool and the Gang, “Show Me the Way” by Peter Frampton, “I’ll Always Love My Mama” by The Intruders, and “Angel Baby” by Linda Ronstadt.David will be forever loved and missed by his adoring family and will always be remembered by everyone who knew him as a loving, happy, generous, funny and selfless man.He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Mosqueda, his sons David and Daniel Mosqueda, his son Greg Smoot and daughter Nikki Smoot, grandson Isaiah Duenas and granddaughter Nicole Marie Bombard-Smoot. He is also survived by his parents Gonzalo and Caroline Mosqueda, his seven brothers, Daniel, Fabian, Jesse, Armondo, Ralph, Gonzalo Jr., and Joseph Mosqueda, and his four sisters, Leticia Guerrero, Rita Simpson, Gloria Mendoza and Juanita Portillo.
