David M. James' Obituary
Feb. 16, 1961 – Aug. 15, 2008 Resident of Tracy, CA Our David left us and is now in heaven with our Lord and his Grandma Omer Snow. David was tragically killed late at night when something caused his Harley to veer off of the road. David was born in Oakland CA and graduated in 1979 from John F Kennedy high school. David spent 15 yrs working for Pitney Bowes and eventually left the office scene to become a wonderful and successful contractor/ carpenter. In 1992 David met and later on married the love of his life Rene Lynne Foster. David loved life, he loved his family and friends and he especially loved “old” people and animals. David was an avid golfer, boater, skier and Harley rider. David is survived by his Mother Mary James of Tracy, His Sister Lori Veitenheimer of Spokane Washington, his wife Rene James of Tracy, his dog Missy, his horse Spike and his “team” of cats Verdell, Pudge, Simba, Gizmo, Monkey and Jessie the 3 legged cat. Loving people who will dearly miss David include: Brother in law Mark Veitenheimer, Brother in law and Cousin Spencer Snow and wife Kelli, close friend and brother in law Jeff Wayne and wife Julie, sister in law Kathy Dahl, cousins Kelley Weingart, husband David and son Matthew, Tiffany Jaciuk, husband Jim and daughter Julia, Nick Lyons and daughters Makayla and Maria, nephew & God child Tony Pereira, nephews Luke Veitenheimer, Josh and Jason Dahl and Brian Wayne, nieces Ashley “bug” Pereira, Amy Veitenheimer, Samantha and Sara Snow and his Great Nephew Quinton Pereira . David was loved and will be missed by his Aunt Nancy & best friend Uncle Floyd Foster, Aunt Diane Snow and deceased Uncle Eddie, his Mother and Father in law Richard and Carol Foster as well as his extended family Jim Fisher, Chuck and Madeline Jackson, “Tracy Joe” Rishwain and many more. Services for David will be held this Friday, Aug 22nd at 10:00 AM in Hayward and CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 32992 Mission Blvd. A gathering for friends and family will follow.
