David Aguirre's Obituary
David N. Aguirre 1935 – 2008 David Aguirre, 73, passed away at his home in Fremont on Sept 6, 2008 after many months of complicated hospitalizations. His enduring patience and strong-will pushed him to fight until the very end. He was born July 15, 1935 and raised in Porterville, CA. where he met his wife, Barbara. In 1967 they moved to the Bay Area, where they raised their 4 children. David served for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. His love for flying led him to a career in the airline industry as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines. He was an active member of the Fremont Church of Christ where he has many dear friends. His avid love for photography took him to many places around the US & world. He and his camera were always present at social & family functions. His kind-hearted spirit and love for his family will be greatly missed. David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara; his son Jeff and wife Julie; son Eric and wife Christine; daughter Julie and husband Keith; son, Brad and 6 cherished grandchildren: Cory, Jennifer, Caleb, Sarah, Kyle and Jacob. He is also survived by a brother, 6 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, Sept 12 from 5:30-8:30 at the Chapel of Chimes, 32992 Mission blvd, Hayward, CA. Funeral services and interment will follow on Sat.
