Darvin Eugene Cupp's Obituary
Darvin “Pops” Cupp was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully at his Hayward home on August 11, 2013. Darvin spent his early years in West Virginia prior to moving with his parents and five younger siblings to California in 1953. He attended San Leandro High School before becoming a proud father of three. Darvin was a long time employee of American Tractor in San Leandro and finished his career at CST in Union City. “Coach Darv” was a Little League coach for 30 years, and loved every minute of it. Pops took pride in his family and was completely dedicated to them. Darvin will be remembered as the best brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend anyone could wish for, and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward: Viewing on Sunday, August 18, 5-9pm and Funeral on Monday, August 19, at 10am.
