Celebrating the life of Darrell Vernon FraryBorn on October 14, 1937 in Oakland, CA where he lived until 1954. His parents were Adreon Emery Frary and Adeline Florence Nevis. He was the 3rd of 5 children. He attended Fremont High school earning his high school degree. After graduation, he began a career as an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force, then a sheet metal worker/assembler for Lockheed Martin. He retired in 2004 after working for 25 years. He lived in Fremont, CA. He was married to Oanh (Nguyen) Frary on May 6, 1986 at Hayward, CA. He served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1962 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.Some important events in his life include his service in the Air Force, traveling the world, building the Hubble Space Telescope, and the birth of his children. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing and boating, being in the outdoors and traveling. His favorite music was swing music and classic rock.He is survived by his loving wife Oanh, Sister Carole, daughters Jeanna, Kathleen, Charlotte, Mary, Thao, sons Darrell, David and Michael and 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
