DANTE RAYMUNDO’S OBITUARYDante Raymundo, a resident of Union City, passed away at the age of 53 on June 24, 2019.Dante was born in the Philippines on February 11, 1966. He graduated from El Rancho Verde High School in Union City. Dante is not married. Dante joined the U.S.Navy (U.S.S. MISSOURI) BB63 on May 1986. He was a Seaman Apprentice stationed at Long Beach California, but most of the time, he was at sea. The ship went to different countries especially to the Persian Gulf. He cleaned the ship and manned the guns. He stood watch while at sea. Enlistment expired in October 1989. He then worked at Spectrum Temporaries in Newark, California as a warehouseman. After Spectrum, he worked as a checker-stager at Ross Warehouse in Newark, California. He also worked for Elo Touch Systems Power Components (Division of Tyco Electronics.) His last job was with PJ’s Rebar, Inc, in Fremont, California.Dante received some awards. James Logan High School presented a certificate on successfully participating in the required number of athletic events and by maintaining an acceptable standard of scholarship and citizenship, and was given the right and responsibility of wearing the Athletic Emblem of Logan High School. He received the El Rancho Verde High School Attendance Award 3rd Quarter l984-1985, the School Site Council Certificate of Recognition for Athletic Achievement and attendance, and the Spot Bonus Achievement Award from Elo Touch Systems and Power Components for hosting their annual Take Our Children to Work Day.Dante is well-liked by his friends and people around him by being so friendly and always with a ready smile and most of all by his laughs.He was survived y his mother Myrla Raymundo and brother Dennis Raymundo.
