Daniel Bruto Ayap, Jr. was born on February 4, 1988 in Maitum, Philippines to Daniel Ayap, Sr. and Cristita Ayap. Daniel, aka “Balong” walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 9, 2016 at the age of 28.Daniel moved to California in 1996, with his family and resided in Newark. He attended Schilling Elementary School, Newark Junior High School, Newark Memorial High School and Ohlone College. He was a zealous fan of sports and during his high school and college years had enjoyed playing football, basketball and wrestling. As an avid fan of the Warriors, one of his happiest memories was going to Oracle Arena. He also loved art, going to the gym, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. His smile and laughter always lit up the room and it was always a great time when he was around. He never let life’s challenges hinder him from enjoying the things and the people he loved. He’s got a warrior’s heart. He’s a warrior and continued to be a warrior. His bravery has forever inspired his loved ones to pursue life with persistent hope and to never give up.Daniel is survived by his grandparents, Dalmacio and Julieta Ayap and Concepcion Bruto; parents, Daniel Sr. and Cristita Ayap; sisters, Ammie Grace Orillo, Joan Beltran, Mary Joy Ayap and Princess Aleena Ayap; brothers-in-law, Lito Orillo and Hendrix Beltran; nieces, Amalor J and Alen Danielle Orillo; nephew, Joshua Beltran; numerous loving cousins, aunts, uncles, bestfriends, and the love of his life, Mae Anne Bonifacio.
