Dan Federick Heeney's Obituary
Dan has been a resident of Fremont California since 1957. He was born in Denver, Colorado July 13, 1927. Dan was the youngest of six children born to Paul and Vernie Heeney. Dan served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers, he drove a blade/grader starting at age 12 until his retirement at the age of 65. He is a member of the masonic lodge of Fremont, Alameda chapter. Dan also served on the board of Fremont assembly International Order of the Rainbow for Girls for many years. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 4, 2017. Dan is survived by his son Ed Heeney, daughter Debbie Heeney Crenshaw, and grandsons Andrew Michael Crenshaw, Ryan Scott Crenshaw, Alan Heeney, Jeremy Heeney, and his great granddaughter Alyssa Crenshaw. Services will be held at Chapel of the chimes in Hayward Wednesday, November 8 at 1:00.
