Dan WillsAug. 21, 1938 – Oct. 16, 2013Resident of OaklandDan E. Wills, who was a resident of Oakland, Ca. passed away Wednesday, October 16th, 2013 at the age of 75.He succumbed to his battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his cherished wife of 28 years, Jennifer Wills as well as his five children Angel, Tamara, Twondell, Troy, and Tatiyana. Dan was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly and made sure they were well taken care of. He was a seasoned traveler who has been around the world several times. He was also a retired cook who loved to feed people, and still did so until he no longer could. He retired from Pacific Steel Casting Company in 2010 after devoting he life to them for more than 40 years. He also found God in his later years, by becoming a member of Second Bethel Baptist Church in Oakland.His Homecoming will be held Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013 @ 1:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes located at 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward Ca. 94544. A quiet hour will be held on Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at the same location. Family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
