Damian Vega's Obituary
Damian Vega, a resident of Fremont, California for over forty years, passed away
after a long illness on January 20, 2024. He was 84 years old.
Born March 24,1939 in Puebla, Mexico, Damian grew up in Puebla and eventually

years in the industry. Once retired, Damian enjoyed spending time with his family,

to visit relatives in Mexico and exploring his father’s homeland, Spain, with his son.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Vega and María de la Luz Cid, his
aunts Daria Cid and Martha Díaz who helped raise him, and his wife Susan Vega.
He is survived by his son Damian I. Vega, his daughters Christina and Elizabeth
Vega, his grandsons Steven Vega, Julian and Javier Alfonso and
great-granddaughter, Alora Vega. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces and
nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
At his request, there will be no services. If desired, donations may be made to the
Cancer Discovery Fund at Stanford Medicine or the charity of choice. The family
would like to give thanks to family and friends for their support during this very
difficult time.
