Daljeet Kaur's Obituary
Daljeet Kaur, affectionately known as “Bibi Daljeet Kaur” within the Fremont Sikh community was born on 10/19/40 in Khurdpur, Punjab. After marriage she resided in Bombay for a number of years before immigranting to the US. First port of call in the US was Yuba City and later a move to the Bay Area where she had now been living for the past forty years.Throughout her life and regardless of where in the world she lived she dedicated and devoted herself to selflessly serving the Sikh community, along the way earning the respect and adoration of thousands. She leaves behind her spouse Sadhu Singh, three siblings, Manjeet Khalsa, Simerjeet Mundian, Kuldeep Hayre and also six grandchildren. The soft spoken demeanor and extra big heart (never saying no to anyone) and always putting others needs ahead of her own is what truly made her an inspiration to us all.Our mothers legacy will live on within the Sikh community of the Bay Area and she will live forever in our hearts.
