Crissie Cannon Glendinning Resident of Fremont Feb. 16, 1923 – Jun. 1, 2013 Crissie Glendinning was born in Monticello, GA. She graduated from Monticello High School and attended Georgia State College for Women, and the University of California, Berkeley. She served two years during WW II in the USMC Women’s Reserve. An avid golfer for four decades and a lifelong football fan, she was married for 56 years TO CDR Bruce E. Glendinning (Ret.), who passed away in 2003.Criss is survived by her three children, Carol (Geis) and her husband, Phil, of The Villages, FL; Gail and her husband, Henry Band, of Fremont, CA, and Alan and his wife, Meg Gerstner, of Los Altos Hills, CA; and by two grandchildren, Sarah and Reyer Band, of Fremont, CA.A Graveside Service with Military Honors was held on Thursday July 11, 2013, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, where she now rests alongside her beloved husband.
