I met Mr. Akrie as an employee of United Airlines in San Francisco CA.
I believe he was the first Black Manager at UAL. He was very kind and professional! He inspired me to get into management and later became a Supervisor & Manager. He had a smile and laughter that made you feel that you mattered. I am much better off as a result of
Mr. Akrie!

Costell was a fine generous kind man!!!
I first met him when we worked together for Lever Brothers a huge multinational company headquartered in London.
My family and I had just moved to the Bay area and Costell and his wife Dianne looked after some of our belongings until we were able to move into a bigger place.
They did this for over 3 years always with much kindness and love.
Bless you Costell !!
To Dianne, I always admired Costell and your family. Looking at his photo fills me with pride love and admiration that I have had for the 55 years since we met in 1966.
