CONSUELO S. PARLANIt is with great sadness that the families of Consuelo S. Parlan, announce her peaceful passing on January 8, 2019 at the age of 101, days shy of her 102nd birthday.She was born in Alcala, Philippines on January 22, 1917, and was the fifth child of 13 children. In 1973, she immigrated to the U.S. to join her daughters and help raise their families.Consuelo helped raise many children of extended family members, was a devout Catholic who walked daily to church and prayed the rosary, gardened in the grotto, and enjoyed watching a good boxing match.She is survived by her 2 daughters Corazon (Gency) and Rosario; her granddaughter Valenn (Joseph) and their children Isaac, Barron and Rex; grandson Philip and his children Nikko and Kayla; grandson Solomon (Lin) and their son Aiden; granddaughter Tarhata (Christopher) and their children Christopher Jr. and Kiana; granddaughter Teresa (Danny); grandson Michael and his children Alex, Maricel, Connor, Hannah, Hailey, Alexis+, and Brooklynne; grandson Jacob and sister Flora Vicente. Inang is loved by many and missed dearly.
