Clifford H. Howell's Obituary
Clifford Hiram Howell Oct. 18, 1919 – July 25, 2009 Resident of Hayward Clifford Howell passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009 in Hayward, CA . He was 89 years old. Mr. Howell was born in Rockport, Illinois. He lived in Hayward for over 35 years. He was a Pearl Harbour, plus a Korean war survivor. He worked many years in the airline industry as a machinist. He was employed by Transocean Airlines, SFO Helicopter, American Airlines, World Airways and Air Cal. He is survived by his son Dennis Howell of Hayward, CA; two brothers Rodney Howell of Concord, CA; Dean Howell of Barry, Illinois; and a sister Thelma Kurtz of Barry, Illinois. One granddaughter Tracy Gulledge of Scotts Valley, CA; one great-granddaughter and one great grandson. Numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the donut shop crowd, extra thanks to Nancy Rivera, his caregiver. Visitation will be July 29, 2009 from 4:30 – 8:30 pm at Chapel of Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. A funeral is set for 10am Thursday, July 30, 2009. Donations to the charity of your choice.
