CLARENCE 'SKIP' SILVA, JR. CLARENCE “SKIP” SILVA JR. The proud owner of the 1946 Ford Oakland Police Car, passed away at the age of 62 on February 5, 2007. “Skip”, as he is lovingly called, was born in San Mateo, CA on March 22, 1944. He resided in the city of San Leandro, Ca for 55 wonderful years. Skip held his family and friends closest to his heart above anything else. He is survived by his eternally loving wife of 42 years (and 2 months), Marie; his beautiful children, Tina Marhx of Alameda, and Jeff Silva of San Leandro; beloved grandchildren , Savannah, Joseph., Bianca. Tyler, Adam, and Robin; dearest mother, Lucille Silva of Hayward; cherished brothers, Arthur Silva of Modesto, Ronald Silva of Fremont and Dennis Silva of Livermore. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, Sunday, Feb. 11, from 5:30-8:30 PM, with a vigil at 6:30PM at the CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA, Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, Feb. 12 9:30 AM at ST.
