It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chi-li-ma Harnold, an incredibly intelligent, unconventional, and hard-working individual. Born on October 22, 1967, he departed from this world on May 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and life lessons.
Mr. Harnold is survived by his wife, son, and daughter: Josie Lin, Henry Harnold, and Jocelyn Harnold. Chi-li-ma was not just an exceptional father, but also a good husband, a cheerleader for his wife, and a beacon of strength and support for his family.
In his professional life, Chi-li-ma was the Director of Quality at Lumentum. His intellectual prowess saw him as an Elite Inventor, with several patents under his name. His commitment to responsibility and teamwork has been a constant source of inspiration and joy to those who worked alongside him.
His benevolent spirit extended beyond the realm of his family and work. He served as the President of the ECOSYS Path Foundation, proving his commitment to serving and uplifting others.
In honor of Chi-li-ma, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM with the viewing starting at 10:00 AM. The locations will be announced to those who wish to join us in commemorating his incredible life.
