In Loving Memory, and Celebration of Life of Charletta Harvey
Charletta Monique Harvey, born March 19th, 1987, in Oakland, Ca. We often called her "Charlie", her nickname. In her young years, she attended LakeView Elementary school in Oakland, Ca. When the family moved to Hayward, Ca. she attended Fairview Elementary and Brethart Jr. High, where she excelled in Basketball. Charletta also attended Hayward High school and Chabot Jr. college while at Chabot, she engaged in Musical Arts. Charletta had a beautiful voice.
When performing her musicals she inducted her nephews Khalil and Shando, and her niece Jaylyn, to sing and dance with her. They later formed a singing and dancing group called "DIMI" (Determined To Make It).
Charletta leaves , aunt Melody Akins, grandmother and guardian Barbara Harvey, sisters Reginal Cook, Jaquise and Myesh Haynes, brothers Marlon Jr. Miles Haynes, John C. Akins. Her father is Marlon Haynes and mother, who has passed and a host of relatives and friends.
