My condolences to the family of Charles Zachary for their loss. I was fortunate to have worked with Charles at a company formerly known as Dialog. As an ex-colleague, I have only good things to say about Charles – smart, creative, reliable, responsible, and … funny. He’d use words like “my wife’s husband” instead of “I”, or “multiplicate” instead of “multiply”, just to make us laugh. His sense of humor helped brighten up my hard-work days and many others’. During our post-Dialog time, occasionally Charles organized a lunch for our ex-Dialogers to get together, and his invite e-mails were so funny, inspiring, and well-received by all of us. Those were our most successful reunion events! We admired Charles and will continue his legend by doing the similar thing and calling it the Charles Zachary Memorial lunches. At Charles’ memorial service, I was pleased to have had a chance to see many of my ex-colleagues from Dialog, more than at most Dialog ex-employees’ events that I had attended. In life or in death, Charles had a way to re-unite us with his charm, humor, and intelligence. Thank you Charles for having done this. Charles was a remarkable person and will be remembered by me and many of his ex-colleagues from Dialog. — Tamara Mai
