Charles R. Gillham Jan. 17, 1931 – July 5, 2013 Resident of Walnut Creek and 50+ years in San LorenzoChuck passed peacefully surrounded by loving family. He is survived by daughter Darlene Gillham Wardlow, husband John, and granddaughter Britt; and daughter Charlene Gillham Walker, husband Jim and grandchildren Jason and Andrea. Chuck was married to Barbara for 60 years before becoming widowed. He worked as a union machinist in San Leandro and Oakland before retirement. He enjoyed all sports, playing on a softball team, coaching, and rounds of golf with friends. He was a long time member of Church of the Cross in Hayward.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 11, at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
