Charles Drake, born on December 31, 1949, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 surrounded by his family in Fremont, California. He is survived by his beloved wife, Merilyn; his son, Brian; his daughter-in-law, Stefani; and his two cherished grandchildren, Danica and Derek. With a remarkable career spanning 45 years as a Nursing Home Administrator, Charles dedicated his life to helping others. He had a deep passion for taking naps, watching history documentaries, and cooking for his family. As the calm balance of the family, he provided wise advice when sought, always with a gentle demeanor. Charles was the last of a generation that was truly unique; he took pride in his work. He worked tirelessly and fought valiantly until the very end, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and perseverance. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege to know him. Charles, we love you and miss you dearly. May you rest in peace.
