Charles Edward Byars' Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Byars, on April 3,
2025 at the age of 78. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and
friend. Chuck was born on October 14,1946, in Berkeley CA. Chuck lived a life full of joy,
adventure, love and deep connections.
Chuck was a man who could create anything his imagination conjured up, a skill that made him
a legend among friends and family. Whether it was working with metal, wood, tile, or repairing
an old engine. His hands were never idle. His passion for anything with a motor was evident
to all who knew him, as he spent countless hours riding motorcycles and boating.
He was a social butterfly, even talking to rocks on his adventures. He has touched so many
lives and will be missed.
Chuck is survived by his wife Michele, children Angela and Melissa,
grandchildren Rebecca, Jared, Austin, Amanda, Corey and Mallory and great grandchildren
Briana, Zachary, Kairos, Jaxson, Hudson, Liam, and Mia Bella. A celebration of Life will be on
