Celso Pabillare's Obituary
Celso Geronimo Pabillare, lovingly known as Papa to all, was born on July 5, 1940 and entered into rest on June 6, 2018 at the age of 77.Celso was born in San Francisco, Del Monte, Quezon City, Philippines. His parents, Braulio and Felisa Pabillare had 7 children. Celso was the youngest. His siblings were brothers; Mariano, Jose, Federico, Benito, Braulio Jr. and only sister, Leonila. He is survived by only one brother, Braulio Jr.Celso attended college at Ma Pua University in Manila. He graduated with a Bachelors in Architecture. There is where he met his wife, Clarita Lintao. They were introduced by Clarita’s longtime friend, Lidia. Celso and Clarita married on June 7, 1970. In fact, they were married one day after good friends, Lidia and Bert were married. Celso made it to the United States on a Professional Visa. His first job was at an Engineering firm, Davy MaKee as an Architect. He arrived in San Francisco, California and lived with in-laws, Greg and Zaida Lintao. He worked and saved enough money for a year to bring his wife, Clarita and three daughters to the United States. His work took him to international jobs like Guatemala and London. Fun fact: his daughters Precious, Prudence and Pauleene were named before he met his wife, Clarita.As a teenager, Celso and his friends saw a palm reader. Part of his reading was; he was going to have three daughters. If they were to have a prosperous life, they will have to be named with a letter P, have eight letters in their names and have a meaning. When he finally married, he in fact had three daughters. They were named Precious, for love. Prudence for wisdom. Pauleene was supposed to be named Princess, but Clarita did not like that name and changed it to Pauleene. No meaning, but her name does start with a letter P and has eight letters. His daughters are all married. His eldest, Precious is married to David Basuil, married 24 years. Prudence is married to Joel Peralta, married 28 years. And Pauleene is married to Conrad Mendiola, married 19 years. Celso has nine grandchildren. Michael, Merissa and Merinna are Prudence and Joel’s children. Brandon, Jasmine and Trinity are Precious and David’s children. Alex, Jake and Phoebe are Pauleene and Conrad’s children.
