Cecilia Peralta Mendalla, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 21 2023. She was born on August 2,1935. The daughter of Juan and Angela Peralta (nee: Beniegla) in La Union Philippines. Cecilia was united in marriage to the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Asterio T. Mendalla on March 29,1959 and raised four children. She retired from Walden West after 20 years of service. Cecilia was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, a member of the League of Filipino American Veterans and a member of the B Club. She enjoyed traveling around the world to places like England, the Caribbean, Italy, and France. She also enjoyed traveling behind her husband on his Honda Goldwing motorcycle to Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. She also donated to various charities. Cecilia is survived by daughters Angelica Mendalla and Jessica (James) Arneson, sons John (Stacy) Mendalla and Dwight Mendalla, grandchildren Briana Mendalla, Lyncee (Nathan) Ramirez, Kaela Mendalla and John John Mendalla, great grandchildren Rayne Ramirez and Tayson Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Asterio, brothers Rogelio, Dripper, and Charlie Peralta and sisters Leticia Jalla and Lorna Domingo.
