Catherine J. Hunziker a Castro Valley resident entered into rest Thursday, November 1, 2001 in Hayward. Born in Ft. Lupton, Colorado on August 31, 1919, she was 82 years of age. Catherine was a very active member of the Upper Room Church in Hayward. She loved the Lord, she loved life, and she loved her family and loved helping others in need.Loving mother of Gloria Lucia of LaPine, Oregon, Kathy Austin of Castro Valley, Virginia Galloway of LaPine, Oregon, Christine Wilder of Oakley, Michael Hunziker of Hayward, Robert Hunziker of Fremont and Tony Hunziker of Hayward. Dear sister of Pearl Schatzer of Arizona and Adolph Maes of Colorado. Devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.'Service of Marked Distinction'
